            Medicine Bowl with Reductive Manitou 
            Maple Burl, 6 ½” Length, c.1760-1780 
            A small to medium sized medicine or ceremonial bowl. 
The shaped raised ends form the outline of a horned Manitou.  
The whole has evidence of an extensive use history with exceptional patination  
and an overall dark color and beaded rim.
